The Lawyer is the UK’s leading digital provider of legal news, data and insight. This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support a new digital product being developed in the 1<sup>st</sup> quarter of 2022.
The person in this role will work alongside the director of research & digital products whilst also collaborating with all other areas of The Lawyer to ensure the ongoing adoption and evolution of the digital products offered to customers.
This person will have an opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading law firms and in-house legal counsel to help build a legal community and distribute thought leadership publications and other content of interest.


<u>Responsibilities

</u>
The role carries four areas of responsibility:
<u>Application management</u>

Learn and understand the full functional capability of the application
Monitor the application service to ensure that it is always working optimally
Review new content uploads to ensure all content is tagged correctly so that it reaches the relevant interested parties

<u>Customer support</u>

Attend customer meetings with members of the sales team to:

Help win new business
Explain the on-boarding process
Provide best practice hints and tips




On-board new subscribing organisations to the platform, helping them to:

Work with the sales team to onboard new customers
Create a company profile
Upload and tag content
Monitor usage




Provide ongoing support to subscribing organisations with:

Advice and best practice on content uploaded to the system
Interpretation of usage statistics
Execution of agreed content marketing activities (see below)




Reporting and trend analysis

Work with the data team to ensure regular and accurate production of application usage statistics for review by the leadership team
Identify key trends in content usage and report back to the marketing team for inclusion in future marketing materials



<u>Content marketing</u>

Manage a schedule of customers subscribing to the content marketing capabilities of the system
Collaborate with customers to define their content marketing goals, agreed actions and success criteria
Execute the customers agreed content marketing actions in a timely fashion
Follow-up with customers to ascertain whether agreed content marketing targets are being met

<u>Community management</u>

Support the marketing activities of The Lawyer to maximise the number of users of the application with emphasis on:

Increasing the number of registered and active users
Building the in-house legal audience




Help maintain the broader in-house community content by:

Support the editorial team in the organisation and placement of content
Support the events team in the organisation and placement of content




Key Skills


Ability to quickly understand new technologies
An understanding of content marketing and administering campaigns on behalf of customers
Ability to translate customer marketing campaigns and success criteria into action on the platform
Excellent communication skills to work across all teams within The Lawyer and to confidently converse with customers
Confident presentation style to share product enhancement ideas with customers
A genuine interest in meeting and talking to people
Good listening skills and an ability to interpret customer feedback
Ability to translate customer feedback into robust business requirements for product enhancements
