We are looking to recruit a Project Manager.

At the Hyde Group, our vision is to provide a great home for everyone. Our values guide the way we operate as a business: we’re customer driven, inclusive, collaborative and innovative.

As a Project Manager, you will provide specialist project management skills and manage the delivery of change within the Development Department, effectively planning and managing the delivery of projects using best practice methodologies, including PRINCE 2 and Agile.

You will deliver Development change projects that primarily focus on systems and process changes, including reviewing and implementing a new appraisal system and portfolio management system. You will also support the Associate Director (Development Programme) to embed Project Management discipline and delivery across the directorate.

Duties of a Project Manager:

Identify the scope of the project and produce a detailed project plan.
Track project deliverables including implementing key performance trackers and contingency plans in the event of delays.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating to senior management as required.
Ensure project delivers on all agreed project objectives, be they scope, schedule, budget, quality or outcome.
Continuously monitor project progress against plan and produce timely project reports.
Ensure a Project Board is established with a Project Sponsor identified to chair and key stakeholders as members.
Facilitate the running of regular Project Board meetings throughout the project, especially at stage gates seeking approval to move to the next stage.
Determine the appropriate methodology for the project and obtain approval from the Project Board.
Liaise with project stakeholders in order to understand, develop and agree scope, resources, budget and manage requirements as well as monitoring processes.
We offer a great flexible benefits package, a 35 hour working week, a fantastic pension scheme and the opportunity to work for an organisation whose social purpose is to help provide people with a home.

Diversity and inclusion are integral to the Hyde Group as a social business, and critical in delivering our vision of a great home for everyone. We strive to build and nurture a culture where inclusivity is the norm and not an initiative. Many of the greatest ideas and discoveries come from a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds and experiences, and we’re committed to cultivating an inclusive workplace which reflects our customer profile and where everyone is proud to be unique.
