Change Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Implementation Change Manager to take a lead role in implementing our BRIDGE programme (the largest NFU Mutual has undertaken, to create a policy sales and service solution that makes our products easier to buy, easier to sell and easier to manage).
The purpose of the role is to align all component parts of the programme into a common approach for implementation into the business to ensure it delivers successfully. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the readiness and implementation of large-scale business change. Some key accountabilities will include:

  • Anticipate and evaluate the impact of Change from programme/project activity and delivery on people and operations, highlighting risks and issues to Sponsor, business leads / stakeholders and working with them to determine the actions required to successfully deliver and fully realise the Business Case benefits and outcomes
  • Collaborate with the business implementation team to prepare affected areas for transition; monitoring and managing change capability and readiness to ensure people, systems and processes are able to achieve the change and realise the benefits to agreed timescales
  • Create and implement best practice business readiness criteria to support go/no go live decisions; optimise the timing of the release of programme/project/portfolio deliverables into business operations to ensure business as usual is maintained during transition and the ownership of changes transfers to the business area, ensuring effective integration into the business
  • Lead and align activities across all areas of the programme involved in the implementation of each Release - in particular: people/process design, change readiness, service transition (Business and IT) and customer migration, to ensure a common set of assumptions/decisions and a coherent implementation plan
  • Lead, track, measure and monitor activity associated with realising benefits, ensuring maximum improvements to existing and new business operations as the programme/project delivers products into operational use, and the continued accrual and measurement of benefits once the programme/project closes, in collaboration / conjunction with business benefit owners
  • Work with the Group Change team to align change activities to the NFUM Change Framework and contribute to continuous improvement activities as relevant.
