Come and join our world leading team in MRI asa Manufacturing Project Manager a new role created for the planning of our new facility where you will focus on defining, developing, and implementing best in class working time solutions for our team of Operators and Technicians.

In this role you will have responsibility for working with external consultants and internal stakeholders, which will include workshop facilitation, evaluating and analysingoptions / scenarios and preparing proposals and recommendations to the steering group. In addition, alongside the project team and supported by our HR and Comms. team you will have responsibility to implement the agreed solutions in preparation for our facility opening in early 2024.

Project scope will include:

  • Optimised shift patterns to improve productivity target achievement levels and wellbeing
  • Manufacturing structure, levels of autonomy and leadership
  • Skills
  • Time and attendance, flex cover and holiday

Your mission and responsibilities will include

  • Project Planning to develop & drive activities to deliver project milestones in preparation of facility opening in early 2024.This will include presenting proposals and recommendations to the steering group for approval & implementation
  • Stakeholder Management to actively engage with external consultants to develop the best-in-class working time solutions for our Operations Team, whilst facilitating internal discussions to optimise outcomes
  • Business Transformation supported by HR and Comms., provide clear direction to ensure understanding of this significant business change to support our growth ambitions
  • Leadership and DirectionTo provide leadership within the new facility project team, to ensure that our solutions are aligned to meet our future manufacturing needs

What are we looking for?

  • A sound understanding of manufacturing principles
  • Experience of leading a team in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of working time solutions; the ability to analyseand evaluate options leading to valid conclusions and proposals
  • Demonstrated ability to influence people at all levels in a large complex business
  • Ability to clearly communicate a business case
  • Experience of leading a significant business change project
