As a Barclays Transformation Programme Manager you will join our team to be responsible for leading and driving successful outcomes across a wide portfolio of Risk projects. By being our subject matter expert, you will have the opportunity to apply your skillset across a variety of different programmes. Each project you will be involved in will require flexibility in your approach - from key Account Manager to Risk Analyst you will demonstrate an ability to deliver important results for the business.

What will you be doing?
•    Providing effective liaison and management of projects with all key stakeholders including SMEs, technology and Accountable Executives 
•    Ensuring the effective resolution and, if necessary, escalation of issues to the Accountable Executives and Risk Transformation Lead
•    Overseeing and preparing documentation and running relevant internal Risk governance programmes to ensure effective management and assessment of programme progress
•    Supporting the Head of Risk Transformation with the allocation of resources and managing the pipeline of future projects which require our help
•    Working closely with IT to explore solutions that addresses business requirements in a way that is strategic and efficient 

What we’re looking for:
•    Solid sense of ownership and ability to lead project teams effectively, unify objectives across different stakeholders and drive execution
•    Structured approach in terms of solutionising deliverables in a strategic and efficient way
•    Ability to work in effective partnership with IT
•    Experience with Credit Risk and grading models

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Solid Risk knowledge across multiple risk disciplines, e.g. Credit and Market Risk
•    Accounting background or CFA qualification
•    Understanding of regulatory requirements relating to Risk
