We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to help drive our existing and upcoming projects to deliver our organisational priorities
University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is a long-standing and leading provider of supported online education. We exist to provide accessible, relevant, and cost-effective education which enhances careers, increases professionalism and leads to a better Built Environment; we are also very passionate about sustainability. Operating from the UK and Hong Kong we have a global reach, and at any one time over 3,500 students are studying online with us. UCEM passed its first ever inspection by Ofsted with flying colours after earning an overall rating of ‘Good’ in November 2021.
This is an exciting opportunity to join UCEM’s Strategy & Planning Office, coordinating and delivering your own smaller projects, as well as supporting larger projects and change initiatives. You will be helping to manage growth, achieve our institutional vision and ensure we fully support our student’s success. Within this role you will monitor project progress, identify, and report risks, provide administrative support for meeting coordination, manage project documentation and communications, as well as work collaboratively with teams across the institution to ensure project success. Current projects include work that supports widening participation in higher education, enhancing student outcomes, introducing new systems and organisational change.
Key qualities required for this role include:
- Experience in a project delivery role
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Keen problem solving ability
- Impeccable communication and relationship building skill
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong IT know-how, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
