Risk Management - Business Support and Continuity Manager

Salary: Band D £31,931-£34,709 (Dependent on Experience)

The Technology Department (TD) is part of the National Laboratories organisation within Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). It exists to provide technology, engineering and support to STFC's current and future facilities and programmes.

As the TD Business Support and Continuity Manager your job will be to work closely with Senior Staff across functions such as Project Management and Business Processes to develop a Risk and Assurance framework that will enable individuals and functions to establish, embed and develop a unique TD risk management process that is compatible with UKRI strategy and our underlying processes.

The following criteria will be assessed at Shortlisting: (CV / Cover note)

* Evidence of coordinating/advising/leading on Risk Management previously
* Evidence of contributing to Risk Management agendas previously
* Your experience of working cross functionally within a complex organisation
* Demonstrable experience of working with and understand the nauseas of the corporate risk register

TD is a small, friendly, agile team and as such you may be required to undertake general support functions such as acting as point of contact between Bids, Project Managers, and Project Management activity. You could be required to support general business processes including the TD Bid Register and Financial reporting. STFC currently uses ORACLE for its financial reporting delivery.
