As a Barclays Fixed Income Project Manager/Business Analyst you will be managing electronic Rates delivery projects for a front office technology platform leveraging both in-house and vendor components. The Markets business is rapidly expanding its algorithmic and electronic trading capacity and delivery efficiency is key to success. You will project manage Global Rates electronic trading technology and our front-office as well as global electronic trading technology delivery function.

What will you be doing?
• Managing of project activities through its full lifecycle from inception to implementation.
• Monitoring and reporting of key project deliverables/risk/issues as and when required
• Managing Risks, Issues and Dependencies as and when required 
• You will be status Reporting, and communications with stakeholders
• Working on budgeting and financial forecasting on a regular basis
• Adhering to Barclays Change Control framework in your day to day role
• Being a face-off against trading, quant, and product teams, partnering with development teams, first-line support and vendors, interacting with risk, controls and compliance functions.
• Interacting regularly with various stakeholders for requirements capture, project governance, status reporting, business analysis and related activities.

What we’re looking for:
• Experience delivering high-performance software in a project management function. 
• Experience working with Agile project methodology and associated tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with both in-house and vendor systems.  
• Experience in a fast-paced trading environment and background in a corporate setting. 

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Background in development, electronic trading technology and Fixed Income products a plus.
• Ease in working with matrixed and global environments: understanding of a front-to-back stack in a trading environment. 
• Exceptional communication skills and ease in articulating status to technology and business stakeholders. 
• A proactive attitude towards problem solving and willingness to be a hands-on technologist.

5 North Colonnade is home to our investment bank and is in the heart of Canary Wharf, just a short walk from our headquarters at Churchill Place.
