An exciting new opportunity has arisen within Digital Health and Care Wales to join the new NHS Wales Cyber Resilience Unit which has been set up to act as the delegated authority in establishing and maintaining NHS Wales' response to the Network & Information Systems Regulations (NIS Regulations).

You will be working in the Unit which will operationalise the NIS regulations on behalf of Welsh Government. The Unit's function is to have oversight of NIS assessments, and the associated action plans to remediate any gaps which those assessments identify. The Unit also provides operational support and advice for those completing the NIS reporting framework set out by Welsh Government and supports operators of essential services in identifying and reporting a NIS incident. The Unit is responsible for reporting on the status of the NHS Wales cyber posture against the NIS regulations to Welsh Government as Competent Authority. The Unit will provide you with opportunities to work on a continuous stream of new challenges.

The role will be to lead, manage and ensure the successful delivery of national projects delivered by the Cyber Resilience Unit providing support to Welsh Government underpinning operational activities relating to the NIS regulations. You will manage the co-ordination of national planning activities, including delivery, demand and capacity management.
