Our client is undergoing a digital transformation, with an aim of generating more than 50% of its revenue from digital channels, by 2024. A cross-divisional programme is underway to implement a single Content Media Platform, with the rollout of a strategic Group Media platform expected to lead to quicker load times and improved engagement, resulting in a greater number of conversions. We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to lead the SCM delivery primarily, whilst also supporting the delivery of AQMEN365 and Penton.

Responsibilities:

Identify all project stakeholders to ensure the project has all the necessary involvement at the appropriate levels of the business.
Develop a comprehensive delivery plan.
Work with SMEs to develop project schedules, identifying activities, estimating resources and corresponding timelines.
Work with SMEs to estimate project costs and present business cases to appropriate governance committees for approval.
Manage all project communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Monetisation of platform, looking at the end-to-end journey from sales customer journeys to products, order fulfilment, e-commerce and through to data flow into data engine and operating model implications.
Be the escalation / resolution point for the project.
Manage the delivery of the project(s) in every aspect, overseeing quality, developing team members, RAID management and stakeholder expectations.
Perform change management ensuring new requirements are correctly analysed and validated.
Continuously look at ways to improve delivery throughout project lifecycle.
Maintain control over project costs and work alongside Finance Analyst to maintain the cost forecast.
Drive collaboration between various functional teams across the business to ensure key milestones are adhered too.
Participate and where necessary run steering boards and project meetings at a senior level.
Oversee the closing of the project and benefit realisation.

Accountabilities

Project Establishment - Define and build the project charter leveraging analytical skills, judgement, prior experience and the knowledge from SMEs, to help define the project objectives, success criteria, governance structure and a delivery plan that sets the project up for success.
Planning - Develop a comprehensive project management plan that stakeholders, teams, and sponsors can follow throughout each phase of the project.
Execution - Guide and manage the project(s) in every aspect, including overseeing technology, processes and change management. This will include accountability to carefully manage stakeholder expectations ensuring no miscommunications or misunderstandings.
Monitoring and Controlling - Manage, track and monitor all project activities, control quality standards, and communication to stakeholders.
Closing - Ensure project objectives have been met and internal customers have signed-off on a successful project.

Qualifications
MUST have a recognised Project Management qualification (Prince2, Agile, APM etc) or solid experience in Project Management.

MUST have Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to apply project management tools in a practical and pragmatic manner.

MUST have experience working with multiple stakeholders across all levels of an organisation, including exec sponsor.

MUST have experience working in global projects with dispersed teams operating across numerous time zones.

Event or Media experience preferred.

Digital transformation experience in a large organisation preferred, with the ability to work across multiple platforms from CMS to CRM, Datawarehouse and Marketing automation platforms.
