HMRC Datacentre Change Project Manager - (SoTF) Programme

We are currently recruiting for a HMRC Datacentre Change Project Manager to lead impact assessment and co-ordination across technical and delivery teams to produce change response documents for new project work requested by HMRC into their Securing our Technical Futures (SoTF) programme. This is for our client who are a Global IT Service Provider. This will be on a 6 month contract, remote working and Inside IR35.

Skills:

  • Experience migrating applications to a cloud platform and/or between datacentres
  • People and team management skills
  • Senior Customer management skills
  • Resource forecasting for projects and programmes
  • Revenue forecasting for projects and programmes
  • Planning projects and programmes
  • Experience of waterfall, agile and hybrid project delivery approaches

Experience includes

  • Experience migrating applications to a cloud platform and/or between datacentres
  • Knowledge of applications services and support management
  • Issue and risk management skills in application projects
  • People and team management skills
  • Senior Customer management skills
  • Financial reporting for projects and programmes
  • Highlight reporting for projects and programmes
  • Resource forecasting for projects and programmes
  • Revenue forecasting for projects and programmes
  • Planning projects and programmes
  • Experience of waterfall, agile and hybrid project delivery approaches

Previous experience of managing:

  • - migration of applications to a cloud platform and/or between datacentres
  • - Application transformation projects and programmes
  • - Service transition projects to take-on application support
  • - Input to bids involving business transformation
