We are looking for Senior Project Manager will manage and be responsible for the successful delivery of significant, large, and complex projects to construct, refurbish, adapt, and maintain Haringey’s council’s estate in line with corporate objectives, and government legalisation. They will assume a proactive role, working with the project team to deliver high quality and value for money projects using effective project management techniques, to deliver on council priorities and regeneration and property-related objectives.

We are looking for someone with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of project and programme issues within the public sector with a degree level or equivalent qualification in a construction related field. You will have track record of deploying excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills in working with partners, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver the Council’s desired objectives in a capital projects delivery context. You will have experience of managing capital budgets, ensuring that financial records and systems are maintained, that budget allocations are controlled, and of achieving value for money and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
