Are you an experienced Project Manager with demonstrable expertise in successfully scoping,  designing and delivering complex technical projects? 

We are the Institution of Structural Engineers. The world’s largest membership body dedicated to  the art and science of structural engineering. We represent the best creatives and innovators in the  profession at a global level and tackling climate change is at the top of our agenda.  

The Role 

Your contribution as Digital Transformation Project Manager will be to manage the successful end  to end delivery of a portfolio of projects, as prioritised in the Transformation strategy which spans  from web, technology, CRM, UX and data including time, cost, quality, and benefits. 

You’ll continuously manage and monitor progress, budget, risks, expectations and changes in the  project; submitting regular reports to the Transformation Board and senior management as  required. 

You’ll report into the Digital, Data and Technology Director, working closely and collaboratively with  them and the rest of the Digital and Data and IT teams and external suppliers; professionally  leading a largely external project team to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to the  required standard. 

To be shortlisted for this post, you must have: 

  • Strong organisational skills with proven project management experience  • Successfully delivered the implementation, development and integration of web and  technical projects 
  • Strong understanding of data and technical requirements, to ensure smooth data migration  and mapping of business processes to new systems 
  • Proven knowledge and appreciation of data architecture, data segmentation, list  management and GDPR compliance 
  • Management of project teams to ensure delivery of project outcomes. 

Experience working in a charity or membership organisation would be advantageous.

Working Conditions: 

We are based on the edge of the city, our office is bright, modern and open plan. We are a small  and friendly workforce. As we move out of Covid restrictions we are presently operating a working  model of office based and remote working and envisage operating a longer-term hybrid working  model.
