Your new role

Our client is looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to provide dedicated support in driving defined IT workstreams aligned to the commissioning of a new major site housing 999, 111 and vehicle make-ready services in the Medway area. Includes provision of LAN, WAN, data centre, telephony, and Airwave communication services with Trust staff and appointed suppliers. The post is a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the commissioning of key IT infrastructure at the site ready for a phased occupation in the new year. The role works closely with in-house technical expertise, senior IT management and third parties on delivery of technical workstreams, managing supplier performance against agreed timescales. Attendance and presentation of progress/updates required at regular project boards, team, or supplier meetings and with counterparts ensuring adherence to Trust governance processes.

What you'll need to succeed

* Ability to Project Manage high-value, complex implementations
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to produce business cases and investment appraisals, and experience of managing contractors
* Strong analytical and investigative skills
* Ability to Communicate effectively with senior management and suppliers
* Ability to negotiate, persuade and manage conflict
