A Permanent Business Change Project Manager role operating on a hybrid basis with two days based in Birmingham and paying up to £65k per annum plus benefits, provides an opportunity to deliver a range of business change projects full cycle for this customer-centric organisation.

Your new role

As Business Change Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects, at the same time, across the organisation’s portfolio. You will build good working relationships with stakeholders throughout the business to understand the main drivers and requirements for projects, so that you are able to build solid business cases and enable change. You will be responsible for project budget, ensuring the cost-effective use of resources and solutions, making sure budget is maintained and highlighting any overrun early on to mitigate issues. You will develop PIDs, project plans and financial forecasts, whilst managing and maintaining the risk register and issues log. You will ensure best practice and consistency is upheld across all projects, working closely with the PMO team to meet project reporting deadlines. You will undertake post-project reviews to promote continuous improvement through lessons learnt.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience of managing complex business change projects full cycle within a fast-paced environment, supported by the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders to enable and embed change will lead to your success. You will be a highly motivated individual who is able to take others on the change journey with them. This will be supported by experience of managing risks and issues, project budgets, undertaking cost benefit analysis, developing benefit realisation plans and project management documents such as PIDs, project plans and business cases. You will have knowledge and experience of project management methodologies and techniques and will be Prince2 or APM certified.
