Project Delivery Manager Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine Full Time – 37 hours per week Permanent
Salary up to £42,000 dependent on experience, plus valuable benefits, including non-contributory pension of 14%
Based in York, The Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) is an Educational Charity which acts as a Professional Body and Learned Society for a growing membership of more than 4,700 scientists, engineers and technologists working in hospitals, universities, and healthcare industries.
As we embark on an exciting new strategic phase, IPEM is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual to work within the newly formed Commercial team. You will work closely with the Head of Commercial Engagement and others in IPEM to build a project portfolio and deliver a variety of projects across events, partnerships and membership among others.
You will work across the organisation to ensure commercial activity is properly planned, coordinated and implemented. You will liaise with the Communications team to ensure IPEM’s commercial opportunities are promoted to appropriate markets and you will have the opportunity for travel within the UK to attend other events and activities, build relationships and source commercial ideas.
You will also design and deliver internal projects to support the planning and pipeline work of the commercial team to ensure the right structures and processes are in place using CRM. You will track and measure the progress and performance of the projects and provide regular progress reports and feedback on the outcomes and impact.
IPEM promotes flexible working for staff. After 6 months of employment, IPEM will agree, where appropriate and at its discretion, to an employee working either permanently at home, regularly at home or from home on an ad-hoc basis.
