An agile and dedicated Construction Consultancy, known for its innovative approach and expertise, is currently seeking a professional and well-rounded Construction Project Manager to strengthen their team in Leeds.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a variety of educational projects, encompassing both Higher and Further education sectors. The consultancy prides itself on its bespoke service, tailoring its approach to meet the unique needs of each project and client, ensuring success across a spectrum of refurbishments and large-scale new build schemes.

The Construction Project Manager Role

In this pivotal role, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing educational projects, demonstrating an appreciation for and the ability to adapt to the specific requirements of the business and project at hand.

From managing refurbishments starting at £100k to steering large-scale new build schemes valued at £20m+, the successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a variety of projects within the educational sector, including Higher and Further education environments.
  • Tailoring services to fit the specific needs of each project, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Managing project lifecycles from inception to completion, including refurbishments and large-scale new builds.
  • Collaborating closely with clients, understanding their needs, and providing expert advice and solutions.

The Construction Project Manager

  • Must have a previous consultancy background with strong experience in educational projects.
  • Should hold a BSc/MSc in Project Management or a related construction field.
  • MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential, highlighting a preference for candidates with a strong professional pedigree.
  • Must possess a can-do attitude, demonstrating proactivity, dedication, and the ability to overcome challenges effectively.
  • Strong client skills both written and verbal
