Overview

We are searching for a highly skilled senior PMO professional to join our team and play a key role in optimizing project management practices for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, governance, and a proactive approach to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Coordination: Support project managers and/or workstream leads in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and programme workstreams.
  2. Governance Adherence: Establish and strengthen governance frameworks for major programmes. Ensure programmes align with those established governance frameworks, and other policies and procedures.
  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including decision logs, resource plans, risk and issue registers.
  4. Reporting: Generate and analyze project reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Assist in maintaining clear communication channels between project teams and stakeholders.
  6. Risk Mitigation: Identify and escalate project risks, working collaboratively to implement mitigation strategies.
  7. Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
  8. Training Support: Participate in training initiatives to enhance agile project skills across programme workstreams.

Qualifications:
  • Degree or professional qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management certification is advantageous.

Essential experience and Technical capability
  • Significant previous experience in a PMO role or project coordination position.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Significant experience in the use of collaboration tool sets (e.g. Teams, SharePoint)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and technical colleagues.
