Project Manager Heritage and Conservation One of the leading conservation specialists in London and the South East of England.
GBP65k - GBP70k depending on experience

The Company

Our client is a highly reputable conservation specialist in heritage restoration who have worked across several of UK s most notable landmarks. The projects mainly consists of grade listed buildings, world heritage sites, parochial churches, modest memorials and scheduled monuments.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager with strong experience working on heritage projects to help lead multiple projects. The client is looking to take someone on as soon as possible and is interviewing starting next week onwards. Our client is a successful company with extremely strong finances and stability and due to the success, they are planning on expanding their team.

Our client s pipeline looks extremely strong, taking on more projects and with the company s growth plans, progression is available and it s a genuine opportunity for someone to grow into a contracts manager and above.

You will be reporting directly to the Directors and help oversee the projects from inception through to completion.

It is essential that the Project Manager has a degree and previous years experience in heritage restoration and conservation.

The role of the Project Manager

Reporting to the Directors, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Overall responsibility for successfully delivering all projects on time and within the agreed budget
  • Liaising with your direct operatives
  • ensuring progress reports and programmes are accurate and presented within the agreed time
  • Working closely with your team
  • Liaising with clients
  • Pre Construction
To be successful as a Project Manager you will need to possess the following:

  • Degree achieved
  • Heritage conservation experience
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Strong communication
  • Basic knowledge of the pre-construction process
  • Be able to provide sufficient references
  • Strong organisational skills
