Service Operations Manager

40,000 - 50,000 + 4,800 Car Allowance + Full Industry Training + Career Progression to Head of Service + 29 Days Holiday

Home, Office and Field based commutable from Banbury, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bicester and surrounding areas


Are you from a Leadership or Management background within Engineering running high performing service teams, looking to play an instrumental role in the success and growth of a bespoke service department where you will be given full autonomy to create and uphold your own service delivery function with the vision of progressing your career into senior management as the company embark on an exciting growth journey?

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the teams growth where you will work closely with the directorship team within a specialist engineering provider, taking the current team of 11 to 22 in the next two years all whilst further progressing your career and having the chance to put your own stamp on the role.

This company have over 40 employees and see the service function generate 15% revenue for the business, and they have the vision of growing the team to see this increase to 40% to enable the companies exciting growth, where you will progress your career to new levels and gain new experience through mentorship.

This role will suit someone from a Leadership or Management background within Engineering running high performing service teams, looking to play an instrumental role in the success and growth of a bespoke service department where you will be given full autonomy to create and uphold your own service delivery function

The Role:
Overseeing SLA, KPIs and Profitability with full autonomy to make the department what you see best
Working with 8 Engineers and 3 back office staff with the intention of growing the department to 22 staff
Further training and career progression to Head of Service

The Person:
Previous Engineering Management or Leadership experience
