Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of custom development projects, ensuring they are properly planned, resourced, and executed in line with internal processes.
  • Assist with proposals and project justification by gathering and reviewing preliminary information from stakeholders such as customers, GBM's, and Engineers.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive Project Management Plan, identifying project scope, tasks, milestones, deliverables, budget, stakeholders, risks, and other key information.
  • Construct and maintain project schedules using an appropriate Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), tracking progress against baseline and ensuring completion of all tasks.
  • Monitor project costs against the agreed budget, calculating Cost to Completion (CTC) and reporting any deviations to management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to produce and confirm comprehensive project requirements, ensuring appropriate verification and documentation of system performance and characteristics.
  • Manage project-related risks by identifying, documenting, assessing, and mitigating them where possible, escalating to senior management when necessary.
  • Lead and participate in internal and external gateway reviews, recording and completing all actions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with internal and external customer standards and procedures.
  • Deliver customer-specific project documentation including manuals, manufacturing record books, interface specifications, handling/storage procedures, and test & inspection plans.
  • Provide timely and thorough targeted communication to all those with a direct and indirect interest, including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake project closeout reviews to gather lessons learned that can be fed back into improvements in processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically within the hardware industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and procedures.

If you are a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for project management in the hardware industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Join our team and be part of a company committed to excellence in project delivery and client satisfaction.
