We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the team of an established company with works in rail, specialising in M&E, Civils and S&T. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be in a dynamic and varied role, offering you ample opportunities for honing and advancing your Project Management capabilities. Please note that having prior experience of working in the UK rail industry is a requirement for this role.

This Assistant Project Manager Role will require you to:

  • Provide administrative support for Project Managers to enhance efficiency and precision in their tasks.
  • Work with clients to get an understanding of their requirements
  • Document minutes in meetings and conduct analysis of statistical data
  • Monitor inventory levels to evaluate resource procurement needs.
  • Compile performance reports, ranking weekly progress updates
  • Deliver presentations to team members to impart knowledge on marketing tools and strategies.
  • Collaborate on data gathering, refinement and interpretation to facilitate informed decision-making and goal establishment.
  • Nurture client relationships through effective communication to foster rapport.
  • Formulate and implement action plans to optimize time, resources, and processes.

Key Skills required as an Assistant Project Manager:

  • Be proficient in client interaction with a client-centric approach
  • Have commercial acumen
  • Be able to work unaided and with minimum supervision
  • Have the ability to work within a team
  • Possess exceptional communication, organisational and planning abilities
