Project Manager
A Junior Mechanically biased Project Manager (fully qualified or trade time served from a plumbing and heating background) is required to work as part of a Delivery team within a 30 year plus established construction and M&E contractor located in Hertfordshire.

The role will be a permanent role which is office based with site visits and client visits as required.
Job Requirements:
  • Working within a team providing management and delivery of works (Project and Facilities Maintenance contracts) across all current clients from inception to completion
  • Work within the team to develop new clients
  • Manage projects (both small and FM) within our in-house FM, IT & integrated management systems to deliver compliant installations and maintenance
  • Manage FM reports and generate remedial actions and quotations from the reports
  • Be client facing and able to communicate in person
  • Receive client general enquiries and develop proposals and quotations
  • Receive client tenders and develop proposals and tender returns
  • Manage health and safety across projects
  • Manage in house engineers & subcontractors across projects
  • Provide monthly reporting as required
Salary:
Negotiable dependent on experience and qualification.

Experience:
  • Time served (mechanically biased) within MEP environment or HND qualified
  • Experience of facility s maintenance
  • Knowledge of various mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience of working alongside some elements of construction works
  • Be proficient in use of MS Word/Excel/Project
