As a Programme Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of the Annual Planned Maintenance Programme. This role involves managing budgets, providing project management assistance, team development, financial reporting, and fostering innovation and efficiency savings.


  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of the Annual Planned Maintenance Programme.
  • Develop annual programmes in collaboration with Asset Management to meet budgets.
  • Provide project management assistance and contract guidance to design team leaders.
  • Assist with team development, management, and recruitment.
  • Provide financial management and monthly progress reports.
  • Foster a close working relationship with the Term Maintenance Contractor.
  • Work across the wider Implementation Team to deliver Capital Projects.
  • Manage ongoing improvement projects to develop Planned Maintenance working procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • RQF Level 3 qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing highways planned maintenance works.
  • Experience working with highways maintenance budgets.
