As a Client Project Manager, you will assist in managing projects or programs of works throughout the design and implementation stages. This role involves consulting with stakeholders, preparing reports, and ensuring project objectives are achieved within standards and regulations.


  • Assist in managing projects or programs of works throughout design and implementation stages.
  • Keep team leaders, senior managers, and relevant parties up to date on progress.
  • Consult with Councillors, stakeholders, and the public on transportation schemes.
  • Assist in preparing reports and project appraisals.
  • Identify, collect, and monitor project resources, progress, and financial information.
  • Evaluate and monitor engineering and infrastructure projects to ensure scheme objectives are met within standards and regulations.
  • Prioritise assigned projects and manage project teams to meet targets and objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • RQF level 4 or Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Some post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
  • Project management skills and experience within Highways and Transportation.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of transportation and planning topics and policy.
  • Some understanding of highway and traffic engineering standards and best practice.
