Our client, a family-owned specialist engineering contractor, is seeking to expand its team with an experienced Project Manager based in Central Scotland. Working on the Scottish Water Framework, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pipeline work, overseeing projects from inception to completion. This role is integral to the successful execution of a large, long-term framework.

As the Project Manager covering projects predominantly across the North of Scotland, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's presence in the region. Your focus will be on both maintaining and expanding our footprint, driving business growth. With a background ideally in the water sector, you should bring proven experience in managing various Civil Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Working within budget constraints.
  • Managing on-site personnel effectively.
  • Commercial management of projects.
  • Report generation and record-keeping.
  • Ensuring adherence to all contractual agreements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education to a degree or HNC level in a relevant civil engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing Civil Engineering projects, primarily within the water sector.
  • Desirable experience in water pipeline projects.
  • Extensive technical knowledge, understanding, and responsibility for all civil site activities.
  • Proactive communication skills.
  • Full UK driver s license.
