Senior Program Manager Dartford Food Processing & Manufacturing GBP55,000 to GBP70,000 salary

Purpose
Define and deliver the business change agenda through the application of best practice project and programme management, to ultimately enhance business performance.

Individual responsibilities include:
• Owning and developing the current project management process.
• Ensuring project and programme governance is adequate for all projects.
• Leading others to accurately define project scopes and user requirements,
• Accountable for high quality and fair supplier selection tender processes.
• Writing/reviewing sophisticated business cases and financial models that are relied upon at board level.
• Provide oversight and control over complex budgets and reporting on project performance.
• Holding teams to project plans and reporting on project performance.
• Defining project risk management strategies and processes for all programmed projects.
• Working cross-functionally to solve project issues and implement changes.
• Taking responsibility for the successful planning and implementation of business change projects.
• Developing a in depth understanding of company culture, its operation, and the individuals.
• Leading and motivating a team and developing your direct reports.
• Taking personal accountability to deliver results that and value to the business.

In this role, first-rate stakeholder management is a fundamental to success of all workstreams. As an internal function you will work with, but are not limited to, the following stakeholders on a daily basis:
• Operational staff in all functions of the Business,
• Middle & Senior Management
• External consultants and suppliers

Candidate Skills and Experience
It is expected that a minimum of 4 years work experience in a Programme/ Change Management role is required to develop the skillset which is essential to success in this role. This skillset includes but is not limited to:
• Business case and financial modelling generation
• Project planning
• Stakeholder management and communication skills
• Budget management
• External supplier tenders
• Issue and risk management

Qualifications
A formal Project Management qualification would be preferred
