Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Programme Manager to lead transformation and business change programmes across their organisation.

In this role, you'll oversee the direct management of projects within their delivery function, collaborating closely with service teams and senior stakeholders. Their projects aim to enhance outcomes for Newham's residents while ensuring the council's financial sustainability through revenuegrowth and cost-saving measures.

We welcome candidates with experience in managing programmes in local government who are well versed in leading service change projects that improve services for residents and deliver savings. This role demands a solid grasp of programme and project methodologies, along with a track record of successfully delivering projects from inception to fruition. We're looking for team members who are:

Self-starters with high levels of motivation

Collaborative individuals who thrive in diverse teams

Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders

Proficient in managing Project Managers or Project Support Officers

Well-versed in both agile and Prince2 methodologies

Enthusiastic about service design approaches that prioritise people-centric service delivery

Experienced in navigating complexities within organizations

Capable of engaging service delivery teams in change

Quick learners who can grasp and interpret complex information

Committed to delivering tangible outcomes for Newham's residents

Eager to listen to and understand diverse perspectives and voices

You'll also demonstrate a proven ability to deliver positive change impacts, with tangible evidence of project benefits in either public or private sector environments.
