Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to lead a 15 million industrial shed project in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. This is for a medium sized contractor who are well-placed within the market. They have strong relationships with clients and suppliers in this sector due to former relaitonships built over time at previous employers. They have a good family feel and a healthy pipeline of work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor progress and ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget
  • Manage project risks and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion
  • Communicate regularly with project team members and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues that may arise

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale industrial projects
  • Steel frame experience and knowledge
  • Previous experience with retail parks is a bonus
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations
