Scope and remit
Undertake BMS design, engineering, project control and handover (commissioning if requested) for a multitude of projects, ranging in financial value and technical scope. Detailed and thorough planning, budgetary control and ensuring all projects are completed safely and efficiently. Personal duties

  • Undertake BMS design, engineering and where required, commissioning.
  • Develop software to meet the job specifications.
  • Knowledge of electrical control panels.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, design new control panels and assists with site modification needs.
  • Understanding of HVAC and mechanical plant systems to design fit for purpose solutions.
  • Act as a HVAC specialist for the business's clients.
  • Prepare, schedule, co-ordinate, monitor and deliver assigned projects.
  • Utilise and manage projects via the implemented PM software.
  • Deliver projects in line with sell cost, astute project control to identify VO opportunities.
  • Understand and formulate project parameters and assign responsibilities to ensure delivery.
  • Conduct on site commissioning as per the needs of the business.
  • Represent the company by providing excellent customer service and high-quality engineering support.
  • Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and report on the project's status.
  • Cooperate and communicate with the project manager and other project participants and collaborate with engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
  • Review the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
  • Create frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
  • Establish field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.
  • Ensure the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Committed to ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times, to enable the business to achieve its objectives more efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's health and safety, quality and environmental procedures in accordance with legislation and the company's policies.
