Caledonian Construction are recruiting for a Joinery Project Manager.

Our client, a highly regarded joinery contractor known for their exceptional craftsmanship and project delivery, is seeking a dedicated Joinery Project Manager to oversee their prestigious projects across the UK.

Role Overview: As a Joinery Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of joinery projects from inception to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage joinery projects from planning through to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of joiners, ensuring high standards of workmanship and productivity.
  • Monitor project progress, identify any issues, and implement solutions promptly.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in joinery project management, with a solid understanding of joinery techniques and materials.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in joinery or construction management are advantageous.
