Digital Project Coordinator

GBP30,000 to GBP34,000 plus company performance-related bonus

My client a leader in their field is seeking a highly motivated and organised Digital Project Coordinator. This role offers a chance to join a vibrant and dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount.

Please note that this is NOT a high tech IT position, but is one where someone who has a creative bias can really flourish.

Any experience working with WordPress would be great!

Role Overview: In this role, you will be a vital part of the Digital team, supporting the planning and implementation of digital services for consumer promotions. You'll manage timelines, identify and mitigate risks, and build strong relationships with clients to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and monitor various aspects of projects, coordinate meetings, and oversee project team members.
  • Handle all administration and documentation tasks using tools like Jira, Paprika.
  • Determine when to involve third-party suppliers and provide clear briefings.
  • Document project issues, risks, and opportunities, and contribute to project review and closure reports.
  • Communicate with client contacts via email and phone, providing proactive and reactive support.
  • Identify project issues and implement solutions effectively.
  • Attend client conference calls and meetings as needed.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and produce quality work.
  • Use existing product portfolios to implement technical aspects of promotional campaigns.
  • Build promotional microsites using a templated builder and collaborate with internal teams and third parties.
  • Brief creative design work when necessary and support live projects using internal products and Google Analytics.

Requirements:

Essentials

Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in client servicing, sales, or project support roles.

Minimum A Level education, ideally a degree.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills for data management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to stay focused and complete tasks despite distractions or changes.

Strong client/customer focus.

Thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks, with a focus on preventing errors.

Team player with self-motivation.

Commercial awareness, understanding costs, and the importance of margins.

Problem-solving skills and risk identification.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Desirables:

  • Experience with Google Analytics and project management software (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Project management experience in a technical environment.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
  • UI/UX experience.
  • Promotional marketing experience.
  • Formal project management qualification (or working towards), such as Prince 2.
  • Understanding of artwork creation processes.
