Position: Operations Manager

Salary: 47,569 per annum + Van + Fuel Card

Location: Worcester / Solihull / Birmingham / Leicester / Gloucester (Home Based with Regular travel to Offices in Worcester / Solihull)

Contract: Permanent

Bonuses: Pension, 28 days Holiday Allowance plus BH, Van/Fuel card

Think Recruitment are currently looking for Operations Manager to join an Estates Service team of a well-known Social Housing association.

Reporting to the Head of Service, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Caretaking and Estates Management contracts.

Leading a large diverse team of in-house colleagues and contractors, supported by a team of Delivery Managers, you will be people orientated and results focused, ensuring the service delivery is in line with customer requirements, contractual specifications, health and safety obligations and financial constraints whilst supporting the wider team objectives.

Experience required/ Skills:

  • Evidence of listening to customers, understanding their needs, and tailoring a service to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Good influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Solutions focused approach to problems.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Management and Health & Safety qualifications would be desirable but not essential. It would be a benefit to have knowledge of H&S and Building Regulations.
  • Managing and leading a diverse, multi-site team and working day to day with and managing performance of external contractors.
  • Monitoring, measuring, and managing service performance, addressing under-performance, and delivering works on time and to budget.
  • Balancing a heavy workload, prioritising as necessary and being able to manage conflicting priorities and demands when required.
  • Management / Health and Safety Qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Hours/Information

  • 40 hours per week
  • 28 Days AL + Bank Holidays
