Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust requires a highly motivated, reliable and flexible Mechanical Operational Estates Manager to work as a key member of the Estates Management Team. You will have extensive knowledge of Healthcare infrastructure services and suitable experience of working within a Hospital environment.

The post holder will assist the Senior Operational Estates Manager to maintain mechanical infrastructure services across three Trust Hospital sites projects across the Trust. This will involve design, CDM and complete project management to delivery. This post will also be the liaison with key Trust departments to ensure maintenance and repair works that affect them are delivered smoothly and with little or no effect on patient care services.

The post holder have a full understanding of the HTM’s, ensuring compliance with Trust Policies, procedures and associated legislation.

The post holder should have a HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Engineering or a higher level qualification, and membership of a relevant professional body, or have sufficient time served experience to enable them to undertake the duties of the post.

The post holder will be appointed to Authorised Person’s roles in keeping with requirements laid down in Hospital Technical Memorandums (HTM) and Health and Safety documentation.

The post holder will be required to participate in the Management Emergency On-Call rota.

Hours are 08.00am to 16.00pm Monday to Friday. 27 days annual leave plus public holidays.
