Balfour Beatty is currently looking for a Facades Project Managerto join our London office. Site based on a project overlooking Buckingham Palace this prime residential development is a GBP130m part refurbishment and part new build of 70 high end apartments. This is a large and complex site which involves a retained fa??ade, brick work and stone cladding.

As a Fa??ade Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the project team and supply chain to deliver the fa??ade element of the project to time, cost, quality targets and standards
  • Manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to manage expectations
  • Manage external consultants (e.g. design) to enable delivery - driving value, customer focus and achievement of the project's objectives
  • Report to the Project Director and the site delivery team on project progress, risks and issues using robust reporting systems to meet the needs of the project and business
  • Utilise BIM, where appropriate, to optimise project delivery and drive safety, particularly through the use of 3D design and 4D (3D design and time) virtual construction simulation and how to use visualisation to support collaborative integrated teamwork
  • Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm

What we are looking for:

You will have:

  • Previous experience in fa??ade installation project management within the relevant industry is essential
  • Confidence in delivering large and complex fa??ade projects to an extremely high standard
  • Experience of leading teams, and confidence in the ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets is a requirement
  • Financial awareness is required to deliver targets, with a desire to continuously improve safety and sustainability performance
  • A relevant professional qualification, such as APMP, and a relevant technical qualification are desirable
  • Experience of Lean Construction principles and Lean practitioner training are desirable
