Job role/responsibilities:
- The Project Manager and implementation lead will be responsible for the development and delivery of projects which form part of a programme to develop Children & Family Hubs and delivery of Family Hubs and Start for Life funding from the Department for Education and the Department for Health and Social Care. The role will sit within a programme and projects team dedicated to the development of Children & Family Hubs. We are open to a variety of applicants, although ideally you will have experience in Children s Centres / Family Hubs and public health, consulting, public policy and/or commissioning. The Project Manager and Implementation lead will be able to interpret, analyse and organise complex information and use this to inform delivery and transformation. This is a key role driving and contributing project work towards the development of Children & Family Hubs and transformation of service delivery, to ensure Hackney families, children and young people aged 0-19 (up to 25 with SEND) can access the support they need, when they need it.
Areas of work or projects the role may work on include:
- Leading on and supporting key work streams to support the Children & Family Hubs Programme, including commissioning based workstreams
- Project planning, delivery and reporting
- Supporting Children and Family Hubs and Children s Centres teams to mobilise services
- Contribute to the commissioning of services and managing stakeholder relationships
- Preparing agendas for and leading critical meetings. Maintaining an actionsregister and follow up agendas.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement, communications, and management, across various levels of education, health, social care, and community and voluntary organisations.
The post holder will also be responsible for undertaking wider project support within the Improvement Programmes and Projects team, and C&F Hubs programme. They will contribute to the continuous improvement of services.

- Significant experience of being a senior leader, safeguarding lead and working with Children with disabilities and their families
- Right to work in the UK
- Social Work England Registration
- Available to start ASAP
