We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Site & Ground Investigation Project Manager to be based either in Nottingham or York.
What you'll be doing:
The Project Manager is responsible for the organisation, co-ordination and delivery of site and ground investigation works. As the Site Investigation Project Manager you will report to the Principal Project Manager.
You will allocate and report upon weekly resources, delivery constraints and financial performance, ensuring that the team is able to deliver against client and contractual demands within their site and ground investigation services.
- Manage geotechnical and ground investigation work/structural investigation work.
- Be responsible for the delivery of site work and associated deliverables.
- Ongoing client care by using clear and open communication.
- Preparation of quotations, costing and service to clients.
- Prepare financial and programme performance data for the Principal Project Manager.
- Undertake site audits and maintaining the quality of their service.
- Carry out Safety Critical duties in line with competencies held and certification gained.
- Undertake other duties in accordance with the requirements of the company.
What you'll bring:
- Demonstrable academic or operational experience in supervision and management of ground investigation works.
- Located in either Nottingham or York when required, but able to commute to either on occasion
- Have a full UK manual driving license
- Previous project manager experience within a similar geotechnical role, or ready to step up into the role
- Relevant safety critical competencies / IOSH managing safety
- Computer literate and MS competent

- Previous experience within Rail
