Your new company
You will be joining a main contractor based in Birmingham working on water schemes in the West Midlands region. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, liaising with the delivery team throughout the course of the schemes, monitoring and reviewing delivery and financial performance, approving invoices and ensuring payments are made within timescales, as well as liaising with stakeholders and the design team. This role involves a mixture of office- and site-based working (with the option for hybrid working).
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous project management and/or site management experience in the water sector and have a good understanding of operational activities. In addition, you will be financially aware and be able to work to budgets. Finally, you will have strong interpersonal skills and previous experience working on water frameworks is highly favourable.
