My Client is a renewable energy company dedicated to creating sustainable solutions that will accelerate the energy transition. operating in the Wind & Solar Biomass markets. A fast growing energy provider who are looking to grow from strength to strength.
They are currently looking for a Solar Project Manager to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all preparatory work is completed on schedule.
- Ensure all projects comply with the UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
- Develop documentation, including Construction Phase Plans, Fire Risk Assessments, Traffic Management Plans, and Fire and Emergency Plans.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and implement corrective actions as required.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to senior management and clients.
Skills and Qualifications
- Project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial and utility-scale solar PV installations.
- Understanding of generation electrical systems and grid connection procedures G100/G99
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- This role will require travel to various project sites across the UK and a driving license will be required.
Location:
- The role is UK based in the Manchester area, travel and overnight stays may be required to suit future projects assigned.
