Project Manager

Our client, a prominent player in the Oil & Gas industry, is currently seeking a skilled E&I Project Manager to join their permanent team. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) projects, with a strong focus on health, safety, quality, technical aspects, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Health and Safety leadership by example, through communication, compliance monitoring, and shared learning.
  • Work closely with the Project Team to ensure a clear and consistent approach to all work carried out.
  • Produce E&I estimates within the customer-owned database.
  • Manage changes in cost variation and scheduling.
  • Adopt standard project control management for the project, monitoring KPI's and compliance of procedures.
  • Set and manage achievable goals and targets for the site team.
  • Ensure project personnel in your team are competent.
  • Be accountable for the quality of work delivered by your team/department.
  • Manage the delivery of labour resource and materials for the contract.
  • Coordinate vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure clear and approved work scopes are available for the project team.
  • Contribute to meetings, presentations, and reviews with Project/Site Stakeholders for effective communication and monitoring of progress.
  • Ensure all project controls meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in electrical site management within the construction aspect of Oil & Gas projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and instrumentation procedures and practices.
  • Proven ability to manage project control measures and KPI monitoring.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Competence in managing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Proficiency in producing accurate E&I estimates.
  • Qualifications such as HNC/HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, IOSH Managing Safely, COMPEX, and APM P are desirable.
