Client Details

I am working with a global leader in the logistics and supply chain space. They are searching for a Senior Software Project Manager to lead on the end to end delivery of client facing software projects.

This is a permanent role, based in Manchester with hybrid/flexible working.

Description

• Manage the specification, design, development, testing, deployment, commissioning, go-live, of software solutions
• Responsible for budget, quality, risk management, schedule, documentation, training, scope, and customer management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Responsible for management of the customer relating to all software elements within the scope of the project.
• Responsible for planning and forecasting all project related costs including resources, hardware and expenses working with project controller reporting monthly.
• Responsible for variations to the software scope ensuring they are costed and delivered to agreed schedule.
• Produce and maintain software delivery schedule, risks and issues. Monitor, and report progress internally and externally.
• Work with the software architect to drive the development team, manage the backlog and task assignment to the team.
• Identify opportunities for the business and take action to implement

Profile

• Proven experience as a Software Development Project Manager
• Experience as a Project Manager working for Software Supplier delivering software to external customers.
• Customer-facing experience as a Project Manager delivering software to external clients.
• Experience managing Developers, Software Engineers and QA Engineers
• Track record of successful delivery of complex, large scale,
• Track record delivering IT-led real time projects including software integration

Job Offer

• Salary range of GBP54,000 - GBP80,000 depending on experience
