Project Support Engineer

Hours of work: Day shifts. 37.5 hours

Permanent

Salary, up to 35K a year

Location:Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Main Responsibilities and Challenges

• Provision of NPI CAD and documentational support
• Conduct CPI activities for existing product platforms and bespoke customer requirements
• Provision of ERP systems support on NPI and CPI creation and maintenance
• Provision of technical support to internal & external customers
• Assist on test setup and recording of performance
• Ensure all assigned relevant aspects of the Gateway Lean Innovation Process are met.
• Ensure Company Health & Safety requirements are met and good housekeeping standards are achieved in the department.
• Support in creation of Technical Product Support Information
• Respond to Technical enquiries
• Validation of design (through prototype and production product testing)
• Support successful review and implementation of VAVE activities
• Identification and promotion of best practices and methodology for departmental processes.
• To maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality

Experience and skill:

• Background and Personal Qualities Experience:
• 12-18months minimum experience in engineering design or manufacturing support role. Qualifications:
• Minimum of Level 3 HNC/Level 5 HND qualified in Design/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
