- This is a very exciting opportunity for a technical project coordinator to join a fast paced, high-tech engineering company that specialises in the design, development and manufacture of world class mobile machine systems.
- As technical project co-ordinator you will be responsible for delivering technical projects through design, development and deployment of electrical & electronic systems for both new and current product ranges.
- Working as part of the systems engineering team, you will support the planning definition, interpretation and development of customer and system level requirements.
Role: Technical project coordinator
- Translate the voice of the customer into a list of clear concise requirements and deliverables.
- Project planning for Electrical & Electronic systems from concept design through to production and integration.
- Provide up to date status for all live projects, articulating project plans, challenges and next steps to achieve successful project delivery.
- Working with engineering teams to select hardware platforms to deliver technical solutions, considering environmental and cost targets.
- Coordinate 3rd party vendors for electrical, electronic and software solutions.
- Ensuring robust and reliable ECU communication protocols are followed in line with industry best practice (SAE J1939, Ethernet).
Required Skills: Technical project coordinator:
- Ability to plan, monitor and track multiple engineering projects in a fast agile environment. (electrical, electronic and software engineering)
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and electronic systems with the ability to read electronic schematics and electrical wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of different CAN bus protocols i,e CANOpen, J1939, ISO14229, ISO14230
- Good technical knowledge of electrical, electronic and software system design and development including integration testing, V&V & FuSa
- Proven technical project coordination / management within an automotive / machinery OEM or Tier 1 is preferred
- Degree/HND in electronics, electrical or software engineering
