Programme Manager - Carpentry/Multi Skills

Contract: Full time, permanent position

Think FE is excited to present a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a leading Further Education college in Berkshire. We are looking for a successful and knowledgeable carpentry teaching specialist to become a Programme Manager.

This role is perfect for an experienced lecturer ready to take the next step into management.

Responsibilities:

• You will Manage planning, marking, and preparation tasks as well as overseeing the management of the course, supporting growth and development within the department
• You will also be required to deliver 18 hours of teaching per week in Carpentry/Multi Skills.
• Classroom management

Who are we looking for?

• You will need a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Carpentry/Joinery.
• Ideally you will already have management experience, but if you re an experienced lecturer looking for the next step up we would love to hear from you.
• A recognised UK Teaching Qualification such as AET, DET, DTTLS, PGCE etc.
• You will need to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, including child barred list prior to commencing employment.
