Leeds based - mainly remote with occasional travel into the office

GBP500 per day, outside IR35

Our client in the public sector is looking for a Technical Project Lead to join their team on a contract basis.

Purpose of the PostThe Technical Project Lead will oversee the successful delivery of technology-focused projects by managing project timelines, resources, and communication between stakeholders. In addition to leading project execution, this role will support the Senior Programme Lead by providing technical expertise and guidance to enhance cross-organisational partnership projects. The post holder will have a strong technical background, proven project management experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. This role requires a balance of leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage project details effectively, while also fostering collaboration across different organisational units.The successful candidate will have:Specific duties include:

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Programme Lead to provide technical expertise that supports the strategic direction of cross-organisational partnership projects.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of technical solutions that enable better collaboration and integration across organisational boundaries.
• Provide technical assessments and recommendations to the Senior Programme Lead for improving project outcomes and partnership effectiveness.
• Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of technology-focused projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, detailing scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives and deadlines.
