Job Description
Overview
Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to join their Dronfield site. This role is critical to their operations as it involves managing end-of-line quality control processes, handling customer complaints, and ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-of-line quality control processes and ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and external quality issues, acting as the primary point of contact for these concerns.
- Collaborate daily with the production team to address quality-related matters and implement improvements.
- Perform hands-on quality control tasks, including inspections and testing of products.
- Report on quality issues and metrics to the Head of Production and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to quality control.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment. Experience in the medical device industry is not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without direct reports.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with production teams.
- Training will be provided, so a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
Salary
32,000 per annum
