Our client, a world leader in survival technology, is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Project Manager to join their defence and security team in Cheshire. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a unique opportunity to drive forward product development and innovation within a rapidly growing business.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading allocated projects according to accepted methodology, ensuring appropriate governance and performance metrics are applied.
  • Documenting a clearly defined project scope and creating workable project plans.
  • Managing project schedules and work breakdown structures.
  • Establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of allocated projects and communicating progress to stakeholders and partners.
  • Identifying, tracking and managing project risks, communicating their impact on cost, quality and delivery schedule.
  • Ensuring effective and comprehensive project documentation.
  • Supporting the production of commercial proposals, bids and quotes, including selecting suitable sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Reviewing contract specifications to prepare budgets and managing costs to budget.
  • Providing technical subject matter expertise to ensure products comply with policy and regulatory requirements.


Job Requirements:

  • Wide and deep general engineering experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
