Are you a financial services professional with experience in loan/lending administration? Have you got experience of managing a team? Can you work in central Bristol twice a week? If the answer to all these questions is yes then we'd be keen to hear from you. Our central Bristol based client who have an enviable reputation are looking for a Lending Operations Manager for the next 12 months to oversee the loan administration team who have oversight of everything from credit approval to pay out for all business banking customers. Key previous experience to be successful in this role is:
Experience of working in a loan/credit administration function of a reputable bank / financial institution and specific experience with bespoke lending transactions
Knowledge of credit risk principles and practices
Good commercial awareness and understanding of the broader context within which the Loan Administration (Lending Operations) team operates
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience of identifying and implementing business process improvements
Personable and 'can do' attitude
This role sits within SM&CR due to the level of responsibility and high level of autonomy so all applicants need to be comfortable with this. This role requires office presence in central Bristol twice a week, will start as soon as background checks are completed and will last a minimum of 12 months.
