A globally recognised and well-established manufacturing organisation are looking to hire a Project Manager on a permanent basis at their site in Essex.

The primary focus of the role is to coordinate the successful delivery of a range of small to medium-sized projects and management a number of key internal and external stakeholders. The nature of the projects will include product development, manufacturing processes, machinery modification or installation as well as facilities upgrades. The position will also be the main line of communication with their primary customer.

Key tasks include:

• Ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects, whilst identifying, reviewing, and mitigating potential risks.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identifying critical milestones and coordinating resources to meet project objectives.

• Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.

• Engaging and coordinating with key stakeholders, customers, third parties & contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to specification.

To be considered candidates will need to have previous project-related experience within a relatable manufacturing sector (FMCG, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Automotive etc). A formal technical qualification would be advantageous (HNC, HND, or Degree) as would a formal Project Management qualification i.e. Prince2. Excellent stakeholder management experience is required as is strong communication skills.
