Title: Senior Programme Manager - Fire Safety Team

Salary: GBP61,880

Location: Waterfront House/Hybrid Working

Fixed Term - 18 Months

This Role

As Programme Delivery Manager in the Fire Safety Team you will develop, implement and manage processes and procedures to ensure MTVH exceed their statutory obligations when meeting the requirements of the Fire Safety Regulations. You will create and manage a programme of works with external contractors to deliver Fire Safety Inspection Regimes with MTVH?s portfolio.

The role will include liaising with residents, contractors and other key stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and playing a key role in keeping our properties warm, safe and dry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure programmes is delivered on time, within budget, meet the highest quality standards and that all contractual obligations are fully met.
  • Leading a small team to deliver successful inspection regimes and follow on works.
  • Ensure a strong customer focused on all aspects of the delivery of the programme
  • Effectively manage the operation delivery of Fire Safety Inspections to meet the requirements of the Fire Safety Regulations.
  • Ensure all regulatory and organisational requirements around Health and Safety and Fire are fully always met and complied with.
  • Promote value for money culture within the team.
  • Work with contractors to meet challenging and realistic targets to achieve all aspects of project delivery, including productivity, performance and KPI
  • Lead the procurement and commercial evaluation of contracts
  • Challenge poor service in line with KPIs, and to ensure good customer service to front line staff and residents and escalate issues as appropriate to the contractors contract manager/s, and MTVHs Contract Manager
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure data integrity
  • Proactively request, collate and analyse information from front line staff, contractors and consultants to assist in the preparation of reports detailing programmes of work and performance (including KPIs). Ensure the data is accurate.

What you'll need to succeed

- Ability to run complex programmes and manage significant budgets effectively.
- Experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, stakeholders and customers to continually improve services.
- Experience managing or involvement procurement processes.
- Understanding of BIM systems, the Decent Home Standard and Fire Safety Regulations.
- Strong understanding of the Fire Safety Regulations
- Strong IT skills including software development
